Matt has served as Director of Youth & Young Adults since May 2023. Born and raised in Austin, Texas, Matt moved to the Triangle in 2020 to start seminary. Matt comes to the Kirk having worked in college ministry, retreat ministry, church ministry, and non-profit ministry. He has a Bachelor of Arts in History and Religious Studies from the University of Texas and received his Master of Divinity from Duke Divinity School where he met his wife, Alli. 

For Matt, the power of faith is this: Because Jesus has offered us life and hope, we get to join God in offering life-changing grace and belonging to the world.
