Jenni grew up in the Presbyterian Church. She served her home church, First Presbyterian in Jackson, Michigan as the Director of Children and Youth Christian Education. She became a PCUSA Certified Christian Educator in 2011. She served two congregations in Ohio: Worthington Presbyterian Church and Granville First Presbyterian. She recently graduated from Union Presbyterian Seminary (Charlotte) with a masters in Christian Education. Her husband Chris is semi-retired and a huge Michigan State fan. They have four grown children (Talore, Austin, Hudson and Megan) and two dogs (Minnie and Milo).
