Evan has served as the Director of Missions and Community Outreach since August 2025. Raised in upstate New York, Evan came to North Carolina to attend Davidson College, where he fell in love: with North Carolina, the Presbyterian Church, and his wife, Emily. He received his Master of Divinity from Union Presbyterian Seminary’s Charlotte campus. Evan brings to the Kirk experience in non-profit, hospital, and church ministries. While serving at the Kirk, Evan is also pursuing a call to ordained ministry as a Chaplain in the North Carolina Army National Guard.

For Evan, the Good News is this: there is nothing that can separate us from the love of God. That gift frees us, and the Spirit equips us, to love and serve as part of God’s Kingdom.
