Kirk of Kildaire

About Us

We are a Community

of Grace

The Kirk of Kildaire Presbyterian Church in Cary, North Carolina is a safe and gracious community that welcomes you to explore your faith.

We Welcome All

“Therefore, welcome one another as Christ welcomes you to the Glory of God.”  -Romans 15:1

We believe that Jesus loves you, no asterisks. We believe that the Kingdom of God is open to all who want a place in it, and we strive to be the same kind of community. We affirm that you were created in the image of God, that God’s abundant grace is for you, and that your full humanity is affirmed in Christ.

We also believe that the community Christ intended is not homogenous. We are committed to welcoming people of all genders, sexualities, races, abilities, and political persuasions. Sometimes, these commitments are in tension.  Sometimes, we disagree. Sometimes we have hard conversations. And, often, we fall short. But through God’s grace, we are committed to trying again.

We hope you’ll join us in our effort to be a community on earth that gives a glimpse of God’s Kingdom so all might know they are beloved.

A MATTHEW 25 CONGREGATION

“Whensoever you did it for the least of these, you did it for me.”

The Matthew 25 Initiative inspires and equips our congregation to live out Jesus’ call to care for the “least of these.” Focused on addressing hunger, homelessness, poverty, and racism, this initiative fosters meaningful service and outreach. Together, we work to reflect Christ’s love by transforming lives and communities.

A STEPHEN MINISTRY CONGREGATION

“Christ caring for people through people.”

Stephen Ministry equips congregation members to provide high-quality, confidential, one-on-one care to individuals facing life challenges such as grief, illness, or other personal crises. Trained Stephen Ministers walk alongside those in need, offering support, prayer, and compassionate listening. This Christ-centered ministry helps foster hope and healing within our church and community.
