For many years, the Kirk has been a faithful supporter of Habitat for Humanity of Wake County, both financially and with volunteers.  In celebration of Habitat Wake’s 40th anniversary and in honor of the passing of Habitat’s greatest volunteer, President Jimmy Carter, our congregation is invited to sign a door.  This door will be used in several 40th anniversary events and will then be installed in a Habitat home.

The door will be in the narthex at the Kirk from August 13 to September 3.  You are invited to decorate it with messages of inspiration and gratitude in tribute to President Carter, a person of deep faith whose decades of service and dedication to Habitat have inspired generations of affordable housing advocates.
