We are a Christ-centered family of faith, aiming to live and know God’s love for one another, our neighbors, and our world.
The Kirk of Kildaire
Our name comes from the Church of Scotland, where churches are called kirks, and from our location on Kildaire Farm Road, from where we have served the Greater Cary area since 1979.
Reformed Faith
We are a congregation of the Presbyterian Church (USA), which is the largest and broadest reformed Christian denomination in the United States.
In a lonely and hurting world, we believe the church is a community built on a promise: that in life and in death we are not our own, but belong to the love of God in Jesus Christ.
Deep Roots & Wide Branches
If you look around our Sanctuary– on our windows, the end of our pews, the front of our pulpit– you’ll spot the design of a tree. At the Kirk, we aspire to be a church with deep roots that anchor us in the grace of God, and wide branches that reach out with the love of Christ.

We believe that Jesus loves you, no asterisks. We believe that the Kingdom of God is open to all who want a place in it, and we strive to be the same kind of community. We affirm that you were created in the image of God, that God’s abundant grace is for you, and that your full humanity is affirmed in Christ.
We also believe that the community Christ intended is not homogeneous. We are committed to welcoming people of all genders, sexualities, races, abilities, and political persuasions. Sometimes, these commitments are in tension. Sometimes, we disagree. Sometimes we have hard conversations. And, often, we fall short. But through God’s grace, we are committed to trying again.
We hope you’ll join us in our effort to be a community on earth that gives a glimpse of God’s Kingdom so all might know they are beloved.
