Be kind and merciful, and forgive others, just as God forgave you because of Christ.” — Ephesians 4:32 (CEV)

Jesus told a story to teach people about God’s love. The son in the story behaved badly, but his father still loved him and forgave him, just as God loves us when we do wrong things and forgives us when we ask.

The younger son repented for his wrongdoing. The older son was jealous and angry that their father forgave and welcomed his brother home. What does anger look like? What does repentance look like? What does forgiveness look like? What does God’s love look like? Draw a picture to show one of these feelings.
