“All of us have sinned and fallen short of God’s glory.” — Romans 3:23 (CEV)

Peter thought he would never betray Jesus, but then he denied three times that he knew Jesus. Like Peter, we will sometimes fail, but we can recognize our mistakes and keep trying to be faithful disciples.

Trudy is invited to a Saturday night sleepover. Her parents say they’ll pick her up early Sunday morning to go to church. The other girls at the party say, “Ugh, I hate church! It’s so boring!” Trudy feels embarrassed.

What can Trudy say that would deny Jesus?
