“All of us have sinned and fallen short of God’s glory.” — Romans 3:23 (CEV)

Peter thought he would never betray Jesus, but then he denied three times that he knew Jesus. Like Peter, we will sometimes fail, but we can recognize our mistakes and keep trying to be faithful disciples.

Trudy was invited to a Saturday night sleepover. Her parents said they’d pick her up early Sunday morning to go to church. The other girls at the party said, “Ugh, I hate church! It’s so boring!” Trudy felt embarrassed and said, “I know, I hate it too. I wish my parents didn’t make me go.” Later, Trudy thought about what she had said and realized it wasn’t true.

Draw a picture to show how Trudy felt, OR write about what she could do when she realized her mistake.
