Nancy’s Notes

Jesus said “Let the children come to me.”  Although youth do not like to be considered children, we are all called children of God and are invited to experience God’s love and care. 

This is my hope as I begin work in my new capacity as interim youth director at the Kirk - that we find ways and places for all Kirk youth to experience God.  Wouldn’t it be wonderful if every youth at the Kirk could say, “I am involved in this work or that program at the Kirk?”  I am hopeful and anxious to help us move toward this goal.

After being a stay-at-home mom for so long, it has been a fun week to attend staff meeting and come to an office!  I have been overwhelmed with your welcoming and encouragement.  Thank you very much!
